About Me
I’m Ruhi, a design-focused undergraduate student at the University of California, Davis pursuing a B.A. in Design with an emphasis in interior architecture. Alongside my academic work, I currently serve as Marketing Manager for ASUCD Unitrans, the public transit system serving both the university campus and the city of Davis, where I lead visual communications, branding initiatives, and public outreach. I also hold experience as a freelance graphic designer, collaborating with clients across a range of creative and professional projects.
My work is driven by a passion for thoughtful, human-centered design and a deep interest in how built environments shape the way people live, connect, and experience space. Through my academic training, I have developed a foundation in creative problem-solving, spatial thinking, and design communication. Inspired by the words of Bahá’u’lláh, that “arts, crafts and sciences uplift the world of being”, I view design as a tool for the advancement of society. As an aspiring architect, I strive to create environments that foster unity, strengthen community, enhance functionality, and support the well-being of those who inhabit them.
